The customer must:

  • Provide safe and reasonable access to vehicles;
  • Ensure vehicles are positioned in an accessible location;
  • Advise Wash & Go of known hazards or site restrictions;
  • Ensure any required site permissions have been obtained;
  • Ensure vehicles are reasonably suitable for the requested cleaning service;

  • Provide any information reasonably required to safely perform the service.

Customers should advise Wash & Go before the service if a vehicle has known pre-existing damage, fragile components, unusual modifications, decals, signage, coatings or other features that may require special treatment.

  1. SITE ACCESS AND SAFETY

Wash & Go will take reasonable steps to perform services safely and professionally.

We may refuse, postpone or stop a service where we reasonably consider that:

  • The site is unsafe;
  • Weather or environmental conditions make the service unsafe;
  • There is inadequate access to the vehicle;
  • The vehicle or surrounding area presents an unreasonable hazard;
  • Required site permissions have not been obtained;
  • The customer has failed to disclose a known hazard; or
  • Continuing the service may cause injury, property damage or an unacceptable safety risk.

Where a service cannot reasonably be completed because of circumstances outside Wash & Go’s control, the parties may arrange an alternative service time.

  1. VEHICLE CONDITION AND PRE-EXISTING DAMAGE

Truck and commercial vehicle washing involves the use of water, pressure, cleaning products and equipment.

Wash & Go will take reasonable care when performing services.

However, customers acknowledge that existing defects or deterioration may become more visible following cleaning.

This may include, for example:

  • Existing paint damage
  • Faded or deteriorated surfaces
  • Loose decals or signage
  • Existing rust or corrosion
  • Damaged seals
  • Loose fittings
  • Previously damaged trim
  • Existing scratches or dents
  • Deteriorated coatings
  • Pre-existing water ingress or electrical issues

Wash & Go is not responsible for pre-existing damage or deterioration that was not caused by our service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for damage caused by Wash & Go’s negligence or breach of a consumer guarantee that cannot lawfully be excluded.

  1. SERVICE RESULTS

Wash & Go will perform services with reasonable care and skill.

The final appearance of a vehicle may vary depending on its condition and the nature of the contamination.

Certain contaminants, stains, oxidation, corrosion, road grime, grease, chemical residue, embedded dirt or other surface conditions may not be completely removable through standard washing processes.

Wash & Go does not guarantee that every stain, mark or imperfection will be removed unless a specific outcome has been expressly agreed in writing.

  1. CHANGES, DELAYS AND CANCELLATIONS

Customers should provide as much notice as reasonably possible if they need to change or cancel a booking.

Any cancellation, rescheduling or applicable cancellation fee will be communicated to the customer at the time of booking or before the service is performed.

Where Wash & Go needs to reschedule a service due to weather, safety concerns, equipment issues, operational requirements or circumstances outside our reasonable control, we will endeavour to provide reasonable notice and arrange an alternative time.

  1. PAYMENT

Payment is due according to the payment terms stated on the relevant quote, invoice or booking confirmation.

Accepted payment methods may include those communicated by Wash & Go at the time of booking or invoicing.

Where an invoice is issued, payment must be made by the due date stated on the invoice.

Wash & Go reserves the right to suspend or decline future services where an account remains overdue, subject to applicable law.

  1. DAMAGE CAUSED DURING SERVICE

Wash & Go will take reasonable care when performing services.

If you believe damage has occurred as a direct result of our service, you should notify us as soon as reasonably practicable and provide reasonable details and supporting evidence.

We may inspect the vehicle or location to assess the issue.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights or remedies available to you under the Australian Consumer Law.

  1. AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), including the Australian Consumer Law.

Where the Australian Consumer Law applies, our services come with consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded.

For example, services must generally be provided with due care and skill, be reasonably fit for any purpose communicated to the supplier, and be provided within a reasonable time where no time has been agreed.

For major failures with services, consumers may have rights including cancellation and a refund for the unused portion or compensation for reduced value, as well as compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

  1. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wash & Go will not be liable for loss or damage arising from:

  • Pre-existing vehicle damage;
  • Normal wear and deterioration;
  • Defects not caused by Wash & Go;
  • Information or instructions supplied incorrectly by the customer;
  • Unsafe site conditions not caused by Wash & Go;
  • Damage caused by third-party modifications or equipment;
  • Loss of personal belongings left in vehicles; or
  • Circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Where permitted by law, our liability will be limited to the remedies available under applicable law and, where legally permissible, the cost of re-performing the relevant services or payment of the cost of having the services supplied again.

Important: This clause should be reviewed by an Australian lawyer before publication because liability limitations need to be drafted carefully for your particular business and customer base.

  1. FORCE MAJEURE

Wash & Go will not be responsible for delays or inability to perform services caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.

These circumstances may include:

  • Severe weather
  • Flood
  • Fire

  • Government restrictions
  • Road closures
  • Utility failures
  • Equipment or vehicle breakdown
  • Industrial action
  • Emergency situations
  • Other events beyond our reasonable control

Where reasonably possible, we will notify affected customers and arrange an alternative service time.

  1. PHOTOGRAPHS AND MARKETING

Wash & Go may take photographs of completed work for internal records and quality-control purposes.

We will not use identifiable customer information, vehicle branding or customer premises in promotional material without appropriate permission where required.

If you do not want photographs of your vehicles or completed work used for marketing purposes, please advise us.

We endeavour to keep website information accurate and current, but service availability, pricing and other information may change.

A website description does not constitute a binding offer to provide a particular service unless expressly confirmed by Wash & Go.
